Actually, the 3rd paragraph is misleading. When radio first came out record companies fought it, wanted to be paid more for radio to play their songs. Said "free" music would destroy there business (who would buy a record when they can listen to the radio for "free"?)
Now we see that radio is such a good marketing tool that record companies pay radio stations to play songs!!
But the same thing is happening with internet radio. Record companies and composers want a lot of money to play their songs. Soon they will be bribing internet radio to play their songs. They NEVER LEARN!!
